The University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) Community and Technical College (CTC) has an immediate opening for a Director of Strategic Enrollment Management to join our staff dedicated to student success. The Director of Strategic Enrollment Management is a critical leadership position within UAF CTC, responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies to attract, recruit, and retain students. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting the college's academic programs and student experience to prospective students and the broader community. The successful candidate should possess a strong understanding of higher education enrollment trends, marketing, and student recruitment and retention strategies. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in creating detailed timelines and managing schedules to ensure timely completion of milestones and overall project objectives. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing enrollment management plans, overseeing recruitment efforts, supporting the college's admissions process, and analyzing enrollment data.
To thrive in this position, you will regularly utilize your creative and strategic thinking abilities, excellent communication and people skills and proficiency in using data and metrics to inform decision-making, track progress and make needed course corrections. On a daily basis you will use your ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, accountability, and high performance as you work effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and four (4) years progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Advanced degree preferred.
Position Details:
This position is located on site at the main campus for the UAF Community and Technical College in downtown Fairbanks. This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and
full employee benefits package . UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the
UA Staff Salary Schedule , Grade 80, based on education and experience.
