The Position:We are looking for eager, driven candidates with experience in events management, program management, client communications, and facilitation to develop impactful solutions for the General Services Administration. In this role, the Events and Membership Coordinator will support logistics and program management for an initiative aiming to improve digital experience across the federal government. Some responsibilities include:Run planning activities and logistics for all program events. Responsibilities include:Manage the day to day event planning scheduleDrafting and QCing of event briefs and scriptsDay to day coordination with speakers and contributorsDrafting of slides and supporting materialsConfigure and troubleshoot all virtual platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Mural, etc.)Develop and manage all pre and post event surveys (Qualtrics, Google Forms)Collaborate with content specialists to ensure accessibility and inclusion compliance standards are met (open captioning, event scripts, etc.)Support the writing of event promo related web and social media contentProvide initial analysis of all post event survey feedback to the Community Outreach and Engagement LeadManage and monitor all membership requests and communications for all 13,000 community members:Manage incoming membership requests and inquiriesMonitor, triage, assign and/or solve all customer inquiries via ZendeskMonitor all eight LISTSERV communities to identify conversation trends and escalate any communication that violates community guidelinesProvide support to the analysis of alternative community communication platforms (LISTSERV)The Ideal Candidate:At Censeo, we are looking for unique candidates whose passion and enthusiasm will help shape Censeo’s client insights and workplace culture. We believe a successful Events and Membership Coordinator will have:Bachelor's degree in a relevant area1+ years of relevant experience(Preferred) Experience working in a consulting/professional services, client-facing role, preferably in the public sector supporting federal clientsStrong creative problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skillsAbility to work effectively on projects with demanding deadlines in a team environmentEffective written and verbal communication skills with an ability to share and synthesize knowledgeAbility and desire to take initiative and ownership over project work and professional development and growthThe Location:Censeo Consulting Group is based in Washington D.C., a fantastic city for working professionals. We work in a hybrid setting with flexibility to work from home and work in our office conveniently located in the heart of downtown, just a few blocks away from the White House. And with many of our clients also based in D.C., we have the luxury of leaving for a meeting and being back in the office in time for post-work happy hours, team dinners, and game nights.
