Superintendent of Schools - Diocese of Gallup, NM

The Diocese of Gallup is searching for a superintendent of schools to begin ministry here in July 2025.There are eleven Catholic schools in the diocese, located in northwest New Mexico and northeast Arizona. The diocese includes three schools in Arizona (PK-12, PK-8, and PreK-5) and eight grade schools in New Mexico.The diocese covers 55,000 square miles, with the center being the 33,000 square miles of the Navajo reservation. Additionally, there are six smaller pueblo tribes in the diocese. About half of the students are Native American, with 1/4 Anglo and 1/4 Hispanic.The ideal candidate will have years of experience teaching at the elementary and secondary levels in Catholic schools and hold at least a Master's degree in school administration. The candidate should be able to acquire teaching and administrative licenses in both New Mexico and Arizona.The compensation package can be negotiated.
