Chief of Staff

for our

Pro Sports League

will be a key strategic advisor and operational leader, reporting directly to the President of the Pro League. This role will be critical in driving the league’s vision, aligning cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring the efficient execution of strategic priorities. As a trusted partner to the President of Pro, the Chief of Staff for Pro will play a pivotal role in decision-making, league operations and internal/external stakeholder management. Organize ideas, projects people, time and resources necessary to keep all initiatives moving forward.Communicate the vision, ideas, projects or the process to the necessary people. This includes creating content, providing context and helping connect the dots across all teams to create opportunities and growth.Delegate projects and tasks to the appropriate people, support them and hold them accountable to the results.Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Alignment:

This Chief of Staff will serve as the liaison with staff, executives, senior leaders and CEO regarding the company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals and planning.Will support Pro by participating in meetings, documenting discussions and taking ownership of follow-up tasks to ensure their completion.Prepare and review communications, reports and presentations on behalf of the President of the Pro League.P&L Oversight & Revenue Growth:

Will support the President of Pro in oversight of the Pro league’s financial performance, ensuring adherence to budgetary goals and P&L targets.

Work closely with financial metrics to identify opportunities for growth and drive initiatives aimed at top-line revenue expansion.Collaborate with teams responsible for sponsorship, media rights and marketing to maximize revenue opportunities and enhance the league’s financial health.Operational Excellence:

Will partner with league operations to ensure they are streamlined and efficient.

Drive key projects that enhance organizational performance, including league operations, player relations and marketing initiatives.Steer process improvement efforts and optimize internal workflows for scalability.Stakeholder Management:

Serve as the liaison between the President of the Pro League and key internal/external stakeholders, including team owners, sponsors, partners and players.

Executive Support & Decision Making:

Will provide support for executive decision-making through research, analysis and the preparation of reports.Attend key meetings with the President of the Pro League, ensuring alignment and clarity on follow-up actions.Act as an extension of the President of Pro, representing the league at high-level meetings and events as needed.Leadership & Team Management:

Oversee special initiatives and task forces.

Mentor and guide department heads to ensure their goals align with league objectives and values.Participate in performance management, leadership development and succession planning efforts for the league’s top leadership roles.Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field. (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).Extensive experience (7+ years) in a leadership role within professional sports, entertainment or a related consumer-oriented industry.Strong financial acumen, with proven experience in managing P&L, budgeting and driving top-line revenue growth.Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving large-scale projects to completion.Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with high-profile stakeholders.Outstanding communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.Experience in research and analytics, with a strong ability to derive actionable business insights is essential for driving informed decision-making and strategic initiatives.Personal Attributes:
