Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef/Food Prep to assist in the preparation and execution of our menu. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes.
This a full-time and part-time position
Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
Ensure the highest level of food safety and hygiene practices.
Collaborate and communicate with the kitchen team.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. No Monday nights.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
