The Defense Resources Management Institute (DRMI) is accepting applications for faculty positions in Defense Economics, Labor Economics, Public Economics, Public Administration, Defense Resources Management or related fields. DRMI offers graduate-level, team-taught, interdisciplinary executive management programs in defense resources management and analytical decision making for military and civilian officials from all services and DoD components of the United States, and participants from over 170 countries.DRMI faculty are active teachers and scholars. Successful candidates will demonstrate valuable teaching experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a Ph.D. in defense economics, labor economics, public economics or related discipline by the date of the appointment. We expect evidence of scholarly research, and candidates should demonstrate a willingness to pursue research relevant to the Department of Defense. Work experience related to the DoD or other government agencies is strongly preferred. Fluency in a foreign language is valuable but not required.DRMI faculty must teach in an integrated, team-teaching environment in resources management executive education short courses. The ability to teach in defense resources management is highly desirable. DRMI faculty must be willing to travel both internationally and domestically. The DRMI does not follow a standard academic calendar, and candidates must live in the Monterey, CA, area and be available to teach year-round. Salary is commensurate with qualifications.Minimum Qualifications:
