Dean of the School of Humanities, Arts, and Sciences

St. Catherine University is searching for its next dean of the School ofHumanities, Arts, and Sciences (SHAS) to provide vision for the liberal artsand sciences in the 21st century, and lead an outstanding faculty deeplycommitted to the mission of the institution and to the success of ourdiverse student body. SHAS houses a wide array of academic programsat the graduate, baccalaureate, and associate levels, along with the CoreCurriculum for undergraduate students. The dean functions as the chiefleader and strategic planner for SHAS, with primary responsibility forall academic programs in arts and sciences.To foster the success of ouracademic programs and our students, the dean will ensure the quality ofour programs, strengthen and expand external relationships, mentor andsupport faculty and staff, ensure an outstanding student experience, andeffectively manage the overall budget of the School of Humanities, Arts,and Sciences to achieve the best outcomes for our students.
