Salary: £46,023Hours: This is a full-time, contract position.Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra is seeking applications from exceptional candidates for the position of Principal Viola.Based in Poole, Dorset, the BSO performs extensively across the south and south-west of England, nationally and internationally, and delivers an extensive range of education and community work through its award-winning Participate department.The Orchestra’s incoming Chief Conductor is Mark Wigglesworth; Leader Amyn Merchant.Audition Requirements:
A movement (including cadenza, if appropriate) from a major viola concerto (i.e.: Bartok, Walton or Hindemith) – please note that Stamitz or Hoffmeister are also acceptable, but
