AVP, Site Liaison , you will oversee the end-to-end general ledger close process across all entities for all divisions and lines of business. The AVP, Site Liaison, manages the Site Liaison Team in accordance with service level expectations and monitors individual and team performance.Responsibilities:Responsible for the management of the Lifepoint Business Services, Site Liaison Team, which manages the month-end close and post-close analysis processes with interface to all lines of business that receive liaison services.Accountable for the completeness of the general ledger month-end close process for all sites, divisions, and lines of business, including the completeness of close checklists and post-close review certifications.Support organization level post close analysis, review, and reporting, including participation in division MOR and other operational reviews as needed.Direct P&L and balance sheet analysis along with comprehensive understanding of revenue recognition and analysis, projects and capital accounting, and other significant accounting processes.Monitor the monthly JLL accrual and monthly financial review to ensure expenses recorded are compliant with MSA and budget to actual spend aligns with targeted savings.Manage issues that arise during month-end close at any site.Collaborate with the LBS Technical Accounting team and operations leaders to inform the appropriate treatment of complex or technical accounting issues.Identify opportunities and lead continuous improvement and standardization initiatives.Interface with Corporate and Executive committees on services performance and improvement initiatives.Support the operations leaders and division site liaisons with the summarization of the annual budget process and organization of budget directives.Support the monthly projection process to ensure projections are entered timely across all divisions and that variances in projection are properly explained.Responsible for managing the Site Liaison team budget and close performance.Establish standardization, process improvement initiatives and goals.What you’ll need:Education:
Bachelors Degree required, preferably in the areas of Accounting or Finance.Experience:
7+ years of experience preferably in Healthcare Operations Finance.Understanding of operational reporting tools and sources within Oracle, including OTBI, FDI, and EPM.Certifications:
Certified Public Accountant (preferred).Licenses:
