Job Overview:
Tim Hortons US is commencing on a growth era, including accelerating its store count to 1000 locations by 2028. The Senior Manager, Regional Marketing Strategy & New Market Growth, is responsible for managing a team of regional marketing managers, developing regional and local marketing strategies, and ensuring impactful execution in applicable markets. This role is responsible for supporting and growing franchisees’ traffic, sales, and profitability. The campaigns this manager will execute flow through several channels including: new store openings, “own your mile” activations, in-store merchandising, mailers/offers, digital media, community activations, and national charitable efforts. This position will be in Miami and will include a high degree of travel.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of Regional Marketing Managers to centralize local marketing strategy and execute impactful regional campaigns.
Develop strategies to enhance sales and drive traffic in key DMAs (Designated Market Areas) as well as at the local market level.
Negotiate, coordinate, implement, monitor, and evaluate sports sponsorships and sports activations.
Cultivate community engagement and foster local brand love through innovative initiatives.
Strategize methods to increase market share and strengthen brand presence in target regions.
Foster cross-functional collaboration with field sales, marketing, digital, marketing communications, operations, and other departments.
Assist in onboarding digital sales channels, including third-party delivery and mobile app ordering.
Design and guide team on conducting comprehensive business reviews with franchisees to assess performance and identify gaps and opportunities.
Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of local marketing efforts, adjusting as needed to optimize results.
Provide ongoing coaching and support for his/her team to support capabilities development.
Required Skills:
Bachelor or major in Business Administration and/or Marketing.
5+ years of Regional Marketing experience with 3+ years’ experience leading a team.
Strong comfort with proficiency in Analytics and creative problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority.
Strong project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Advanced in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
