:ANSER is seeking an
Operations and Management Analyst
to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Chemical and Biological Defense (ODASD(CBD)) and their oversight of the Chemical and Biological Defense Program (CBDP). In this role you will support the overall staff action processes, workflow, and office management processes that enable the ODASD(CBD) to perform its mission.Day to Day Responsibilities
:Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current functions, missions, roles, and interrelationships of the Office of the Secretary of Defense staff, particularly the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment’s staff, as they pertain to staff actions.Supporting the operations and management functional area of the ODASD(CBD), as required. This functional area includes, but is not limited to, personnel security, physical security, facilities management, task management, correspondence management, records management, supply requisitions, training, and awards.Reviewing and assisting with the development of all written communications within the ODASD(CBD) to ensure messaging consistency and compliance with format and grammatical rules.Drafting correspondence for the ODASD(CBD), as needed.Utilizing the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) in support of the staffing and coordination of ODASD(CBD) written communications within the DoD.Providing subject matter expertise to assist action officers with CATMS and the development of packages (e.g., action memos, transmittal letters, etc.), as needed.Preparing and coordinating personnel packages, as needed.Supporting the requisition of supplies, equipment, and furniture.Preparing awards and promotion ceremony functions, as needed.Coordinating the transmission of office personnel security clearances/visit requests to US Government Agencies, the Services, and International Partners and the receipt of visit requests for incoming personnel and visitors.Ensuring physical security of the spaces, including adding and deleting access to alarm and swipe access to an Open Storage Classified workspace.Conducting in/out-processing of all personnel including civilian, military, contractor, and members of multiple fellowship programs.Requesting computer account creation for NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS accounts, as required.Supporting Freedom of Information Act/Mandatory Declassification Review (FOIA/MDR) requests, as needed.Required Qualifications
:Possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience OR 15+ years of related experience without a bachelor's degree.Experience working with, briefing, and engaging General Officer/Flag Officer/SES-level personnel.Demonstrated ability to communication skills, both written and oral.Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail.Desired Qualifications
:Recent experience with CATMS.Experience working with DoD correspondence.Ability to work in a fast-paced office with a high operational tempo.Ability to work independently with limited information.
