Procurement Mentor
with a minimum of
10 years of experience
to develop and guide our procurement and contracts (acquisition) strategy. This is a
Part-time
and
Remote
position. The successful candidate will play a key role in mentoring our team, ensuring effective knowledge transfer, and providing policy guidance. You will offer expertise in negotiation tactics, contract terms, and modifications to support our procurement operations.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement/contracts (acquisition) strategyTrain and mentor the team, focusing on skill development and knowledge transferProvide policy guidance on procurement and contract management processesAdvise on negotiation strategies, contract terms, and modificationsCollaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with procurement objectives and best practices.General Requirements:Minimum of 10+ years of experience in procurement, contracts management, or a related field.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.Strong understanding of procurement policies, contract negotiation, and management.Strong knowledge of federal procurement regulations and compliance requirements.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Why Planate?Joining the Planate team opens you to an experience working for a Global company where you are among a team that is considered a premier trusted partner for planning, design, engineering, asset management, and professional service solutions anytime, anywhere.
