Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.Tasks and Qualifications:
Write software logic for new projects. Support the development of Dematic’s iQ software for Dematic’s conveyor overhead systems. Configure the Dematic iQ software. Support the specialist department in the solution development phase. Interface with the Dematic iQ Software R&D department. Test and certify software releases in the overall system. Perform project-specific adaptations and parametrization. Assist with the start-up of systems on the customer side. Ensure that the complex Dematic iQ software meets performance requirements and stays on schedule and within budget. Support the local Dematic Corp. Software Development team during the planning phase. Coordinate work with other staff and managers. Check the technical accuracy of the work of software development staff. Implement processes for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and process standardization. Identify and implement improvements to increase the efficiency of Dematic iQ software. Lead and oversee in-house trainings for the different components.Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field and 3 years’ experience as a Software Engineer or closely related occupation. Also requires 2 years’ experience with installing and commissioning software on conveyor systems including Pouch Sorter System; developing software for conveyor systems including Pouch Sorter System; configuring the software; supporting the solution development phase; testing and certifying software releases in the overall system; and performing project-specific adaptations and parametrization.Up to 60% travel required to various unanticipated locations.
