Responsible for processes and activities within supply chain related operations and/or compliance such as regulatory compliance, systems and technology, data analytics and performance, international supply chain, operational excellence and supply base diversity. Manages, develops or supports strategic direction and tactical execution of governance (policy, procedure, processes, etc.), priorities, initiatives and related activities.
Responsibilities
:
Perform Procurement Analysis & Compliance Evaluations (PACE), on procurement actions to ensure compliance with the requirements of Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC), government laws and regulations (FAR/DFARS/Other Agency Supplements), and customer prime contract requirements.
Provide support to the Mission Systems (MS) GSC Compliance Office in the implementation of Company and Sector Supply Chain policies, procedures, and practices.
Responsible for reporting and tracking all corrective actions to closure.
Performs and supports additional procurement post award spot audits.
Collaborate with various functions on projects related to GSC.
Investigate and resolve compliance problems, questions, or complaints received from internal and external customers.
Develop and implement programs designed to increase employee awareness and knowledge of compliance policies.
Assist in the implementation and application of Supply Chain policies and procedures to ensure that these are in compliance with the appropriate statutes and regulations and that company and regulatory reporting requirements are met.
Support and represent the Mission Systems Sector in cross-sector initiatives related to GSC Compliance.
Basic Qualifications
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in U.S. Government procurement within a supply chain organization or Master’s degree and a minimum of 6 years’ experience in U.S. Government procurement, supply chain.
Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS/Other Agency Supplements.
Proficient in the use of the Teams Application.
Experience with SAP.
3 or more years in a Buyer/SCA role.
Working experience with Microsoft Products (Specifically Excel and Word).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Procurement/Subcontract package audits.
Familiarity and experience with Enterprise Procurement Manual and NGMS Sector processes and procedures.
Knowledge of MS GSC PrOP.
Experience with Subcontracts, Procurement and/or Contracts.
Ability to represent Mission System Sector in a team environment.
Ability to multitask within a dynamic environment is critical.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and apply sound judgment to problem solving.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in team environments.
Ability to communicate effectively with a collaborative approach across various professional and management levels.
Salary Range:
$99,900 - $149,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
