Aon is looking for a Risk Management Claims Coordinator to work solely with our client Hyatt. This person will focus primarily on Property, Crime, Cyber, and International Liability claims.This role will triage and coordinate incoming new claims for property, crime, international liability, and cyber, while supporting various risk management initiatives. This role involves collaborating closely with our Third-Party Administrator (TPA), Director of Global Claims, Broker, Hotels, Legal, and other stakeholders. We expect this candidate to play a key role in accelerating Hyatt’s execution in documenting, reporting, processing, and routing new claim matters for efficient handling and timely closures.This is a hybrid role that will require 2+ days per week in the office in Chicago.Key Responsibilities:
Collect and organize required documentation for smooth claim submission to our TPA, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Function as a point of contact between the TPA and Hotels, resolving/calling out issues or disputes and ensuring smooth communication.Ensure that property reporting procedures are adhered to across all areas, including property, crime, international liability, and cyber claims.Ensure proper reserving practices are maintained and that claims are closed in a timely and efficient manner.Manage and streamline the documentation process to ensure quick and effective claim resolutions.Execution of POL’s (Proofs of Loss).Collaborate with internal risk teams to identify key risk factors, monitor trends, and suggest preventative measures.Provide comprehensive claims reports, summarizing findings, identifying patterns, risk exposures, emerging trends, and recommendations to the Director of Global Claims and various leadership groups.Facilitate meetings with the TPA, Hotels, and Vendors on any disputes/issues, updates, escalations, or discrepancies.Ensure all claims processing adheres to internal policies, as well as local, state, and federal guidelines.Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, providing recommendations for process improvements.Opportunities to participate in Hyatt’s diversity and inclusive activities.Experience:
2-3+ years of experience in property, crime, cyber, international liability, or risk management.1+ years of direct claims handling experience.Experience working with TPA’s is highly preferred.Strong analytical, excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Proficiency with claims management systems and reporting tools.Understanding of data and reporting and how to leverage data to improve execution and overall outcomes.Ability to prioritize tasks.Travel: 5%-10%.Education:
Associates’ degree in business insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.English/Spanish preferred
