As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to join their leadership team.Summary of the Position:The VP of Operations will be responsible for leading the overall business operations, strategic direction, and long-term growth initiatives. Reporting directly to the President, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of projects, and driving continuous improvement across all areas of the business. The VP of Operations will be a key member of the executive team, contributing to the company’s overall culture, strategy, and growth.Principal Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the company, including project management, construction, sales, finance, and service departments, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company’s goals and objectives, driving operational efficiency and business growth.Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and hold accountable high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity across all areas of the business.Financial Management:
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for all departments, ensuring alignment with company goals and profitability targets.Client Relations:
Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.Innovation and Technology:
Drive the adoption of new technologies and innovative practices to stay ahead of industry trends and enhance the company’s competitive edge.Culture:
Promote a positive organizational culture that values diversity, teamwork, and employee well-being.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in field service or construction industry.Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale operations and managing teams in a fast-paced environment.Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, employees, and stakeholders.Ability to build and lead high-performing teams and foster a positive organizational culture.In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.Ability to think strategically, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.Proficiency in project management software, ERP systems, and other relevant technologies.
