An International Freight Forwarder is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Business Development Manager with strong freight forwarding experience to join their expanding sales team and grow their presence across the U.S. This role focuses on building customer relationships and driving business growth through strategic sales efforts in both ocean and airfreight services.

Key Responsibilities:Specialize in both Ocean Freight and Airfreight shipments, helping clients streamline their international logistics needs.Manage sales efforts across multiple U.S. states, developing a broad network of clients.Identify, target, and win new business opportunities, meeting or exceeding sales targets set by the company.Maximize business from existing clients within your portfolio by deepening relationships and offering tailored solutions.Conduct thorough research on prospective clients, ensuring credit limits are viable and increasing the likelihood of successful deals.Qualify prospects, promote the company’s freight forwarding services, and arrange client meetings and follow-ups to secure new opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in sales within a freight forwarding organization, with a deep understanding of both airfreight and ocean freight services.Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are essential for managing multiple clients and meeting sales targets.Excellent oral and written communication skills to engage with clients and promote services effectively.Willingness to travel to meet clients and prospects.
