The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of TxDOT transportation advance planning, schematic design and/or environmental design project experience in the consulting industry. Works closely with the Transportation Team Leader in the development and delivery of TxDOT transportation advance planning, schematic and/or environmental design projectsPerforms complex transportation engineering tasks and leads other professional staff in the development of transportation projectsManages other consultant teams and the workload of design staff including Engineers, EIT's, and technical staff that contribute to the growth and safety of Texas roadwaysCoordinate with clients and lead delivery of transportation planning project development.Manage personnel, budgets, schedules, sub consultants and client interaction.Work closely with the region's transportation director and transportation practice leader in business development activities.Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degreeA minimum of 10 years of Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) project experienceA minimum of 5 years of experience in advance planning, schematic and/or environmental design project deliveryProfessional Engineer (PE) License in TexasAbility to manage multiple projects, and supervise technical staffStrong communication skills, both written and verbalA positive attitude, be self-directed yet a team player, and have a focus on quality, integrity and successPreferred Requirements:
