Job Purpose:

Responsible for all aspects of a program at the site, serving as the site liaison between the company and the customer to ensure customer needs are met. Ensures all program-related decisions are guided by the terms and conditions of the customer's contract. Understands all aspects required to launch a new program or order. Responsible for customer management and satisfaction, order management and delivery, revenue achievement, business issue resolution (A/R, E&O material issues, PPV, credit, RMA's), and business development. Understands Sanmina offerings for vertical integration and directs customer appropriately towards additional or alternative Sanmina products or services. Ability to lead cross-functional teams to meet or exceed customer and Sanmina goals. The Program Manager is responsible for overall customer service and satisfaction including delivery, quality, flexibility, communication and responsiveness for assigned accounts.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

Top Level shortage reports / CTB status reportingCapacity planning and establishing realistic commits. For example, the number of SMT starts can be supported per day or per week.Managing build priorities internally & with customerManages process readiness by driving effective meetings with both internal and external teams.Expediting units between work cells, test stations; must be present on the manufacturing floor to expedite buildsResolving internal resource constraintsProviding customer real-time status updatesEscalating need for support internally and externally to resolve issues slowing down buildsAnticipates next step in manufacturing flow and prepares for the next step ahead of time. For example, ensuring that the back end kits are pulled, fixtures ready, programming complete, tooling, materials, resources, etc.Timely and accurate daily build status reportingCoordinates workflow between front end (SMT) and back end (MA and test)Ensuring that performance on key business metrics achieves business objectives (revenue growth, margin performance, cost management/PPV, inventory turns, AR management, etc.)Ensuring that performance on key customer satisfaction metrics achieves customer objectives (price performance, on-time delivery, quality, etc.)Coordination of customer priorities with factory priorities.Proactively providing feedback on opportunities for continuous improvement, based on having a solid understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.Interfacing with the customer at a high level and being able to successfully manage key revenue programs to avoid escalations.Managing and developing project plans. Manage the activities of a cross-functional team(s) to ensure completion of the project on time.Review status with the customer and the management team.Understand and drive written understanding of the project and develop Contract/MSA terms with customer and the business development team.Timely resolution of issues and escalation as soon as it is required to avoid delays in project completion.Ensure timely implementation of ECOs. Ensure proper closure of customer related A/R issues.

Education and Experience:

Must have transitioned multiple designs turned into medium and high-volume production in manufacturing.Team player, strong written & oral communication skills, ability to work well with global engineering groups.BS in Engineering with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in the electronics or electro-mechanical industry in at least one of the areas such as system level product development, electrical or mechanical product design, NPI engineering, technical project or program management.

Salary Range (annual): $100,000 - $120,000.
