Overview

This role is the DSO IT Solution Architect for the Demand Planning and Demand Sensing Substreams within the Forecast To Schedule Process as defined by the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT). Provide IT knowledge to enable common global designs, data, reporting and analytics and support the delivery of PGT solution capabilities.Responsibilities

This role has the accountability for the DSO operations and delivery of new enhancements within the Forecast To Schedule (FTS) Global Process and Solution Design.Objectives are to ensure the deployment of the PGT supports the execution of business processes related to Forecast To Schedule - Demand Planning.Core Level-3 FTS Processes covered:SAP IBP Demand PlanningPromotion & Event PlanningShort Term Demand SensingPublish Demand PlanAccountabilities:Own and support the end to end processDeliver the PGT solution capabilities across all in-scope PepsiCo marketsDrive completion of key project activities in collaboration with the Demand DSO Team members and business partnersAct as advocate of changeUnderstand process interdependencies and ensure the design of fully integrated process solutions with other process teams – example Make To Deploy and Order to CashCollaborate with Global Process Owners, Global Process Leads, Solution Design Leads and Value Stream Leads on issue resolution and process design recommendationsEscalate appropriate decisions making requirements or process “choice points” to Global Process Owner and LeadsWilling to challenge status quo and ask difficult questions to drive for optimum solutions and outcomesAbility to influence and work through othersOpen to new ways of working, adopting industry standards and best practicesAbility to articulate or demonstrate perspectives and experiencesAbility to deliver high quality outcomes particularly under tight timelinesCompensation & Benefits

Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree or equivalent experience required5+ years of experience configuring, deploying, and managing SAP ERP with a focus on Demand Planning (1+ year of SAP IBP experience is required, prior SAP APO experience is a plus)5+ years of SAP Business Warehouse, HANA, Teradata, Oracle, SAS, UNIX or similar experience is a must2+ years of SAP S4 experience is required, prior SAP ECC experience is a plusMandatory Tech Skills:IT Expertise in demand planning and demand sensing submodules of SAP IBP across multiple business units and lines of business (Snack, Beverage, Food)Experience in Demand and Supply Planning solution evaluations and application in planning and scheduling processesFamiliarity or exposure to demand planning models and understanding and usage of statistical algorithmsUnderstanding of master data needed for demand planning including customer and product hierarchiesFamiliarity or exposure to business and technical processes of inventory management, supply planning, production planning / scheduling and replenishment planning processesExperience with planning and forecasting for large projects and programsMandatory Non Tech Skills:Provide outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers and resolve very difficult and sensitive issues effectivelyDemonstrate ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organizationPrior experience in working matrix organization and handling multiple stakeholders would be added advantageIntellectually curious with a strong desire to learnIT leadership experience with demand planning projectsKnowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP SolMan 7+, CHARM, Azure Dev Ops, Service Now, Control-M and MS ProjectSolve highly complex problems within their work teamStrong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departmentsAbility to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequencesAdaptability and flexibility including ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and changeConsulting background a plusExperience with TCP, DRP, MPS as roles within the businessExperience in cross functional roles preferredDifferentiating Competencies:InnovationDrives for ResultsChange LeadershipCommunication with leadershipStrategy and PlanningCollaborationNegotiating SkillsCoaching/Facilitation skillsEEO Statement
