Overview:

As a Tableau Developer on our Technology team, you will partner with the Risk and Control team to create and maintain a customized dashboard for all control uplift programs. You’ll be an integral part of the Bank’s technology infrastructure, guiding the Global Markets Technology team through risks that threaten the Domain. What You’ll Do:

Ensure all settlement instructions are entered properly into the Bank of New York (BONY) Clearance System.

Optimize Delivery opportunities through the use of Partials, Pair-Off’s and Inter-Day Securities Borrowing, Confirm Fails and report discrepancies.

Resolve Settlement discrepancies by monitoring exception queues inter-day, perform position reconciliations between internal and external systems.

Manage, track and report daylight overdrafts at BONY.

Participate in DR tests (internal and external), system upgrades and enhancements.

Provide guidance and assistance to junior staff.

How You’ll Lead:

Contribute working as a strong team leader as well as an individual contributor while adhering to Deutsche Bank's values and beliefs and collaborating on projects for the wider Deutsche Bank franchise.

Act as an escalation contact for day-to-day issues and periodic reviews ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, engaging with Regulators and Audit as required.

Close collaboration with local and global functional heads from the Business, Finance and Technology to drive delivery of strategic objectives.

Skills You’ll Need:

Measurable or specific experience, e.g. Moderate Java experience, Microsoft skills.

Experience in field/industry, e.g. Moderate Management experience.

Bachelor’s degree in specific field.

Skills That Will Help You Excel:

Proficient in Brokerage/Financial accounting.

Strong analytical skills: (ability to utilize different techniques to resolve problems transactions).

Solid operational skills: (Solid understanding of trade processing and settlement procedures).

Excellent technical skills: (must have Fed wire clearance system experience and Fixed Income Clearing Corp system for US Treasury/Agency products. Must be proficient in PC desktop applications; i.e., Microsoft Office suite Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).

Excellent Interpersonal skills: (must have excellent communication/oral skills and interact well with other team members; i.e., Clients, Sales, Trading, Ops, IT, counterparts’ back and middle office ops). Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment due to the fact that a significant portion of the transactions are processed/settled real time, online with critical deadlines).

Job knowledge: (must have knowledge of the Firm’s markets, products, business and regulations) specific to Fedwire products (US Treasuries, Agencies and Mortgage Backed Securities).

Expectations:

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, Florida office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $93,000 to $133,300. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
