About the team

We work together to ensure our clients understand this new world of advertising, that they are making the best possible decisions to support their own goals, and drive advertiser interest and engagement across the board. The Client Services team is responsible for managing and growing Roku's partnerships with Advertisers and ultimately enabling our clients to reach their business objectives.

About the role

The Account Manager role is a strategic partner to Roku's Clients and the Roku Ad Sales team. This position plays a key role in ensuring end-to-end success for advertising partners from pre-sale to post-sale via ownership over campaign success and execution. This individual is integral in maintaining and growing key partnerships while upselling and maximizing revenue for Roku's advertising business. This individual will have a passion for building strong customer relationships and collaborating closely with internal Ad Support departments. This position requires strong communication skills and a high-level of attention to detail while working in a fast-paced sales environment.

As an Account Manager you will work to support the Ad Sales team and adopt a consultative approach to supporting Roku's Ad Sales clients. Account Managers at Roku are involved in each step of the campaign lifecycle from pitch, pre-sale, launch, execution, optimization, post-sale campaign readouts, billing, and client engagement. The role is directly responsible for campaign execution, performance, and Roku ROI.

For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $90,000 and $135,000 annually.

What you'll be doingServe as the lead day-to-day point of contact for Roku's clients (top-tier advertisers and agencies)Be an expert on Roku's unique ad products with support from Measurement, Analytics, and Product teams to provide the best value to our clients to achieve their advertising goalsExperience in managing and growing accounts. Inclusive of forging a strong relationship with clients, understanding their objectives, and recommending best strategies to proactively drive renewals and upsell opportunities for all current clientsAbility to craft persuasive narratives with data driven storytelling to engage and upsell clients to drive incremental revenueExperience with supporting Account Executives on client meetings, and comfortable with presenting insights, data, and campaign metrics during meetings and/or QBRsCollaborate with Account Executives to review and respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) for your assigned accountsUphold Roku's Best Practices and Ad Guidelines on creative builds. Serve as the liaison between the client, Roku's Sponsorships and Design team, and Ad Operation teams to streamline creative builds from start to finishResponsible for ensuring campaigns launches are seamless and on time. Regular and constant communication with clients and internal teams to confirm campaign setup and activationFrequent monitoring and reporting of campaigns to ensure they are performing and pacing toward client KPIs. Provide status updates and reporting to key stakeholders (AEs and clients)Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with a strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Ad Operations and other business operations teams on campaign activations and optimizationsSupport the Finance team to ensure campaigns are properly invoiced each month and work with clients to receive timely paymentsWell organized and detailed-oriented individual with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlinesAbility to work across variety of media types including Direct IO, PG, and PMP campaignsWe're excited if you have

3-5 years of consultative experience in account management/client services at an ad tech company or media planning at an agencyExperience in video and display advertising with a premium publisher, ad network, data vendor, or agencyHands on experience in Programmatic video executions, workflows, and troubleshootingUnderstanding of PMPs, how to set them up and optimize to maximize revenueExperience working with DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, ad servers, or any other optimization platformStrong passion for collaboration, creative brainstorming, and proactive client engagementAnalytical, project management, data-driven, deadline-drive, and process-oriented personalityReporting intelligence with Salesforce, Excel, Looker, PowerPoint, and TableauKnowledge of verification vendors (DoubleVerify, Integral Ad Science, Nielsen, etc.)Knowledge of 3rd party measurement partners (Nielsen, Foursquare, etc.)Strong, persuasive communication skills, both verbal and writtenSelf-starter, comfortable working in fast-paced, growing environmentBachelor's degree or equivalent#LI-RD2
