About the team

The Client Services team is responsible for managing and growing Roku's partnerships with Advertisers and ultimately enabling our clients to reach their business objectives.
About the role
The Senior Account Manager at Roku serves as a strategic partner to Roku's clients and the Roku Ad Sales team. This role is crucial in ensuring the success of advertising partners throughout the campaign lifecycle, from pre-sale to post-campaign wrap-up. You will be responsible for maximizing revenue, retaining clients, and proactively developing relationships within your book of business. A passion for advertising KPIs, data analysis, and customer success is essential, along with strong leadership, communication skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced AdTech environment.
As a Senior Account Manager on the Auto vertical, you will partner with the Ad Sales team and adopt a consultative approach to supporting Roku's top-tier Automotive Ad Sales clients. Senior Account Managers at Roku are involved in each step of the campaign lifecycle from pitch, pre-sale, launch, execution, optimization, post-sale campaign readouts, billing, and client engagement. The role is directly responsible for campaign execution, performance, and Roku ROI for some of Roku's largest accounts.
For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $101,000 and $170,000 annually.
Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. What you'll be doing Act as the primary point of contact for Roku's clients, responsible for a portfolio of several top-tier Automotive accounts Be an expert on Roku's unique ad products with support from Planning, Measurement, Analytics, and Product teams to provide the best value to our clients to achieve their advertising goals Extensive experience in managing and growing accounts. Fostering strong relationships with clients, understanding their objectives, and recommending best strategies to proactively drive renewals and upsell opportunities Ability to analyze campaign data to craft persuasive narratives to clients around Roku's offering to upsell and cross-sell Roku's products Strategize on portfolio-specific goals that align with the company vision. Track and review progress towards goals and adjust strategies as necessary Be the lead for campaign issues that arise with your Account Manager counterparts. The ability to quickly identify, analyze, and resolve any issues in a timely fashion that arise with clients and their campaigns Substantial experience with supporting Account Executives on client meetings, and comfortable with presenting insights, data, and campaign metrics during meetings and/or QBRs Collaborate with Account Executives to review and respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) for your assigned accounts Uphold Roku's Best Practices and Ad Guidelines on creative builds. Serve as the liaison between the client, Roku's Sponsorships and Design team, and Ad Operation teams to streamline creative builds from start to finish Frequent monitoring and reporting of campaigns to ensure they are performing and pacing toward client KPIs. Provide status updates and reporting to key stakeholders (AEs and clients) Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with a strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Ad Operations and other business operations teams on campaign activations and optimizations Communicate effectively and influence other cross-functional leaders by solving business challenges, identifying opportunities for growth, and collaborating to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization Well organized and detailed-oriented individual with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines Ability to work across variety of media types including Direct IO, PG, and PMP campaigns We're excited if you have
6-8 years of consultative experience in account management/client services at an ad tech company or media planning at an agency 4-5 years of recent experience working with Automotive brands and their streaming and digital investments across their national, regional, and local buys Experience in video and display advertising with a premium publisher, ad network, data vendor, or agency Hands on experience in Programmatic video executions, workflows, and troubleshooting Understanding of PMPs, how to set them up and optimize to maximize revenue Experience working with DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, ad servers, or any other optimization platform Ambition to develop personally and nurture the development of others Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, executive teams, and industry leaders Excellent time-management, project management, and prioritization skills to meet deadlines Analytical, data-driven, and process-oriented personality Strong desire for collaboration, creative brainstorming and proactive client engagement Reporting intelligence with Salesforce, Excel, Looker, PowerPoint & Tableau Analytical, project management, data-driven, deadline-drive, and process-oriented personality Knowledge of verification vendors (DoubleVerify, Integral Ad Science, Nielsen, etc.) Knowledge of 3rd party measurement partners (Nielsen, Foursquare, etc.) Strong, persuasive communication skills both verbal and written Self-starter, comfortable working in fast-paced, growing environment Bachelor's degree or equivalent #LI-RD2
