The Microsoft 365 (M365) Solutions Architect will play a key role in leading the design, development, and delivery of Microsoft 365 (M365) solutions that align with the strategic goals and technical needs of the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Power Platform, and security/compliance tools. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams, assessing functional and technical requirements, developing architectural strategies, and ensuring the successful implementation of portable, scalable, and efficient solutions. The Solutions Architect will act as a technical advisor, bridging the gap between operational processes and technology, while providing architecture guidance, best practices, and hands-on technical expertise.

The M365 Solutions Architect will also lead migrations, modernization efforts, and cloud-first initiatives, ensuring the seamless implementation of solutions that enhance collaboration, productivity, and security within the enterprise environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

Solution Architecture and Design:

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of M365 solutions across multiple business units. Develop enterprise-wide M365 strategies to enhance productivity, collaboration, and security. Create detailed architecture documentation, technical roadmaps, and solution diagrams. Ensure alignment with Microsoft's best practices, compliance frameworks, and governance policies. Architect hybrid environments and develop migration strategies from legacy systems to M365. Technical Leadership and Innovation:

Provide expert-level guidance on Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Power Platform, and related M365 services. Evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies and tools to identify opportunities for innovation, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. Lead technical workshops, proof of concepts (POC), and pilot projects. Act as a technical escalation point for resolving complex M365-related issues. Lead the development, delivery, and management of a comprehensive portfolio of Microsoft 365 (M365) solutions by collaborating with internal developers, ensuring alignment with business needs, user requirements, and industry best practices. Stakeholder Collaboration and Business Alignment:

Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Engage with leadership to align M365 initiatives with long-term business goals. Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to deliver solutions within scope, budget, and timeline. Advocate for user experience, change management, and adoption strategies. Governance, Security, and Compliance:

Develop and implement governance frameworks for M365 services to ensure data integrity and security. Implement security best practices, including data loss prevention (DLP), conditional access policies, and multi-factor authentication (MFA). Ensure solutions meet CUI compliance standards such as PII, HIPAA, or FedRAMP (as required). Training and Documentation:

Provide training and mentoring to IT staff, administrators, and business users on M365 capabilities. Maintain technical documentation, including runbooks, solution diagrams, and process guides. Develop end-user enablement plans to drive solution adoption across the organization. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Must be a U.S. citizen. Experience:

Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in M365 architecture, design, and implementation. Certifications:

Power Platform Solution Architect Expert M365 Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of M365 services, including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). Cloud Architecture:

Expertise in Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) integration, hybrid architectures, and M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations. Security and Governance:

Strong knowledge of Microsoft security and compliance solutions such as Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, and DLP policies. Business Acumen:

Ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem resolution. Communication:

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to lead technical workshops and executive briefings. Leadership:

Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior staff members. REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with complex M365 migrations (e.g., Lotus Notes to Exchange Online, on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online). Familiarity with ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and DevOps practices. Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, government). HOW TO APPLY:
