Responsibilities: Position Overview Tencent Overseas IT is dedicated to supporting Tencent's fast global expansion by providing future-ready IT platforms, applications, and services. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft 365 Architect with a strong passion for leveraging technology to solve complex challenges within IT Foundation Services. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from Foundation Support and Infrastructure Build-out to Day 1 Onboarding and continuous engagement. IT serves as a key driver in delivering essential services to both internal and external stakeholders. This position will report to IT Manager, Americas IT. This role is pivotal in collaborating with our overseas internal and external studios, as well as HR, Finance, and various business teams, to design, plan, build, and optimize streamlined, cohesive IT frameworks. These blueprints will encompass the required solutions, platforms, applications, and processes. This essential work will support Tencent's rapid employee and business expansion in overseas markets, including the Americas, Europe, and APAC. Primary Responsibilities 1. Solution, Architecture Design, and Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership during the implementation of Azure and Office 365 solutions. Design end-to-end solutions using Microsoft 365 and Azure that meet business and technical requirements. Develop and maintain architecture blueprints and roadmap plans for Azure services, Office 365 applications, and related cloud technologies. Create scalable, resilient, and secure architectures that integrate with existing on-premises systems and align with business needs. Work with compliance teams to ensure all solutions meet regulatory and organizational security requirements. Oversee the configuration, deployment, and management of services such as Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and security solutions. Serve as the Microsoft Architecture SME, providing strategic guidance and expertise to IT and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational objectives. 2. Azure & Office 365 Administration: Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Azure AD for identity and access management. Develop, implement, and maintain Azure governance and security policies such as MFA, data loss prevention, and conditional access. Continuously evaluate existing systems, identifying opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvements. Manage and support Azure & Office 365 services, including Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. Provide stakeholders support for escalated complex incidents and service requests related to Azure and Office 365 services. 3. Integration & Automation: Lead the integration of cloud, on-premises, and third-party solutions with Microsoft 365 and Azure. Develop automation, reporting, and troubleshooting workflows using tools like PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and Azure Logic Apps. Utilize Azure services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, etc.) to automate business processes and improve system efficiency. 4. Best Practices, Strategic Planning, and Roadmap Development: Establish best practices and governance frameworks for Azure and Office 365 environments. Define and enforce standards, guidelines, and security controls for data handling, storage, and identity management. Evaluate new Azure and Microsoft 365 features and services, providing recommendations for adoption and integration. Contribute to long-term IT strategies by analyzing business requirements and technology trends. 5. Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including solution designs, procedures, system configurations, and integration points. Mentor and train IT staff, helping them understand cloud architecture and solution management. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards regarding data privacy and security. Qualifications Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in IT with a focus on Azure and Office 365. Proficiency with Microsoft identity & access management, governance frameworks, Azure & Office 365 best practices, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc, and administration tools. Expertise in PowerShell scripting and other automation tools. Experience in hybrid cloud environments, with solid knowledge of integration between on-premises systems and cloud. Strong problem-solving abilities with a comprehensive understanding of IT best practices. In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum project management, resource management, and change management. Ability to perform well under pressure, addressing diverse and dynamic challenges. Microsoft Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Enterprise Administrator Expert, and Azure Security Engineer Associate are required. Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is advantageous, enabling effective communication with internal and external stakeholders in both languages. Location State(s) California The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $122,400.0 to $255,600.0 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
