The
Electrical Department Head
will report to the Office Manager and collaborate with Project Mangers to oversee and mentor the Electrical Design Staff within a specific office or division. This role involves managing the design of building power, lighting, data/telecommunications, fire alarm, and special systems, ensuring successful project execution. Responsibilities also include overseeing scheduling, project assignments, and cross-training of staff, while providing guidance across all phases of design and construction.
This role requires strong leadership, from running calculations and sizing switchgear to service as the primary point of contact with clients and stakeholders. The

must be organized, focused, and motivated to guide a team while ensuring the success of projects of varying size and complexity.

Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering• Registration as a Professional Engineer• 10+ years of related experience• Previous leadership experience• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the electrical building systems
