Job Description Summary
The Ballpark Event Services Lead will assist and organize the set-up, coordination, supervision and tear down of Spring Training game day operations and other events. This position will oversee the work of Event Services staff and volunteers. Ballpark Leads oversee operational areas such as: ticket taking, transportation, guest services, ushers and cleaning.
The Event Services positions are temporary, part-time positions to assist with events located at Goodyear Ballpark and Recreational Complex. The ideal candidate will possess good customer service and communication skills, be positive and friendly and willing to assist in the variety of ballpark operational areas.At the City of Goodyear, you will be a part of an organization that values its employees as its greatest asset. EXAMINATION PROCESS Only a limited number of the most highly qualified applicants meeting the City's requirements will be invited for an interview.

Implements and executes operational plans for assigned areas. Supervises activities and facility by providing direction, overseeing and delegating work to Event Services staff/volunteers. Ensures/documents breaks for staff/volunteers.Assists with Ballpark program and event set up and tear down. Opens and/or closes the facility.Resolves minor customer issues and concerns. Provides superior customer service to internal and external customers.Ensures safety of guests and participants. Enforces Ballpark policies, rules and regulations.Participates in pre and post-event/game meetings. Completes post-event reports of incidents in assigned area(s).
Sick leave hours will be provided based upon hours worked.
