What you'll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
Developing and integrating IT infrastructure for the vehicle commissioning in the factoryIntegrate the requirements of the vehicle E/E-Architecture in the End-Of-Line electrical test systems incl. data logistics for Pre-series and Series Production.Perform scheduled configuration changes and software updates to vehicle commissioning systemsCoordinate the IT Infrastructure relevant topics cross functionallyDefining the scope and assessing the feasibility of proposed vehicle commissioning solutions.Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and goals.Collection customer requirements, break down and definition of tasks for development teamCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define optimal solutions for electronic vehicle commissioning and check.Planning, coordination, and implementation of equipment and systems by managing timeline, budget and quality.Identify potential risks in production processes and develop counter measures to prevent vehicle loss.Develop software programs or scripts for electronic vehicle commissioning and check procedures.Assess the usability of check programs under series production conditions.Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require daily attendance at in-person meetings and events. The role will be based out of a Scout Motors location in Columbia, SC. You will be required to be in the Novi, MI area frequently. Applicants should expect the role to require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on the company's behalf from time to time.What you'll bring

Minimum 3 years professional experience with expertise in automotive manufacturing engineering, production planning or project management.Extensive knowledge of vehicle engineering processes and understanding of manufacturing processes.Bachelor's/ master's degree in automotive technology, mechanical, electrical, software engineering or equivalent field.Proficiency in advanced programming languages such as C++, C#, Java or similar preferredStrong skills at organizational navigation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration at all levels; adept at developing effective partnerships and relationships.Proficient in analytical and conceptual thinking, employing logic and reason in both creative and strategic contexts.Demonstrated ability in creative and strategic problem-solving, with experience troubleshooting vehicle systems.What you'll gain

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $120,000-$135,000
