Job Description
Allegient Defense (DBA BCS Allegient) provides technically oriented services from program management to advanced systems integration and engineering. We support Government and prime system integrators with engineering and management expertise. Allegient Defense helps clients with challenging Science & Technology, Engineering Acquisition, and Program Management Mission requirements. We are currently in search of a Sr. Executive Administrative Assistant to support a government client.
Essential Job Functions
Provide general administrative support as needed and support senior leadership by overseeing and managing the daily operations of the Front Office effectively and efficientlySupport the planning and executing conferences or eventsProvide advice and recommendations to the Director, Deputy Director, and Chief of Staff, DCSA on all matters relative to the coordination, integration, and synchronization, of staff actions, events, and activitiesProvide detailed planning relating to a wide variety of complex communications issues and messaging initiativesAttend high-level internal and external meetings and briefings with, or for, the Director, Deputy Director, and Chief of Staff and takes notes, documents actions, follows up as requiredCreate and brief messages/presentations to DCSA senior leadership, as well as to the total DCSA workforceDevelop plans and objectives for assigned projects and initiate and conduct studies and analyses on projects, issues, and problem cases.Identify areas needing emphasis and exercise executive guidance to ensure programs and initiatives accurately meet expectationsRespond to front office suspense dates, ensuring they contain complete information that is responsive to the incoming tasking.Respond to, substantive inquiries from USD(I) and DUSD(I&S) staffers regarding DCSA Transformation Plan, DCSA Strategic Plan, complex program issues, Congressional inquiries and other important or urgent issues that would otherwise be addressed to the DCSA Director, Deputy Director, and Chief of StaffAssist in training, on-boarding/off-boarding of personnel in compliance with DCSA policy, employee orientation, and manpower planning and staffing actions.Manage numerous high priority special projects for the Director, Deputy Director, and Chief of Staff.Job Requirements
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in business administration or a related field.Experience Requirements:
2 - 4 years of administrative workMicrosoft products and programs experience (MS Office)Previous experience in an executive assistant capacityPossess excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills and provide well-written, articulate responses to compliance issues.Desired Requirements:
Certificate and knowledge of practices from:
