Northwest Talent Solutions is partnering with a premier aerospace and defense industry leader to recruit a Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations. This strategic leadership role will drive workplace quality initiatives for a 2,400-person Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations organization, including management of a 1,500-person bargaining unit specializing in aircraft modernization.What Sets Our Client Apart:

Lead strategic HR initiatives for a 2,400-person operations organizationDrive labor relations strategy and contract negotiations for a 1,500-person bargaining unitDevelop and execute workforce strategies aligned with annual operating plansLead a team of six HR professionals including labor relations specialists and HR Business PartnersPartner with sector leadership to optimize organizational effectiveness and engagementImplement data-driven HR strategies to enhance retention and workplace qualityGuide leadership development and succession planning initiativesManage complex labor negotiations and relationships with union leadershipWhat You Bring to Succeed:

Track record of leading HR strategy in complex manufacturing environmentsExperience managing labor relations and contract negotiations in aerospace/defenseProven success developing and mentoring high-performing HR teamsStrong business acumen and strategic planning capabilitiesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsBackground implementing metrics-driven HR programsAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship)Applicant Insights:
