POSITION SUMMARY:
The Program Coordinator serves as an assistant to the Club Director and manages activities and data tracking progress toward program goals and objectives. Additionally, the person who fills this position will work under the direction of the Club Director at the E.W. Hagler Club in Augusta, Georgia.
This is a part-time position: Monday - Friday, 12:00PM to 7:00PM
KEY ROLES & ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate planning and implementation of the BGC programs. Implement applicable district, agency, and grant policies and regulations. Provide oral and written reports to stakeholders. Facilitate partnerships with appropriate public and private agencies that enhance programs and services. Participate on local and state committees related to afterschool programs. Maintain records needed for program administration. Act as a support to club staff. Design programs and activities to support achievement of academic goals, career readiness, life skills, and high school graduation. Manage all supplies needed for programming. Ensure completion of all necessary data collection. Gather and enter data into systems accurately. Attend all necessary trainings. Monitor data and give weekly updates to Club Director. Compile evaluation data as asked. Attend staff meetings as needed. Organize and quarterly 21st CCLC Advisory Council Meetings Assists with quarterly Inventory process. Assists Club Director with day-to-day activities as assigned. Assist instructional staff in planning after-school activities. Administer student assessments 3-4 times a year.
RELATIONSHIPS
:
Internal: Maintains close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain or interpret guidelines/instructions. External: Maintains contact as needed with external community groups, schools, members' parents, and others. EDUCATIONAL
QUALIFICATIONS
& SKILLS
Bachelor's Degree preferred in a related field of study. Must be available 12:00pm - 7:00pm Monday through Friday. Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite Strong project management, leadership, and organizational skills Must be detail oriented.
ENVIRONMENT & WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical requirements include physical exertion such as lifting, stretching, and bending as well as sitting for prolonged periods of time. May be exposed to sounds and distractions such as from office equipment, various meetings or gatherings taking place.
