No Work ScheduleHours and schedule will be based on the college needs.Sensitive Position No Job DescriptionJob Description:The Clinical Support Specialist will oversee students in their clinical rotations in the hospital setting per the guidelines in place by the college in the adjunct faculty handbook, job description, and course description as well as the guidelines of the organization they are assigned to.

Duties and Tasks:Oversee students in their clinical rotationsProvide support to student during clinical hours

Employees must reside in Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia.Special AssignmentsMay be required to perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Nursing from a regionally accredited institutionCurrent license to practice as a registered nurse in Virginia.A minimum of 2 years of direct nursing care experience in an in-patient setting.Additional ConsiderationsAdditional ConsiderationsPrior experience teaching in higher educationExperience teaching in classroom, hybrid, and online formats.Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive working and learning environment.Experience teaching students from diverse language backgrounds and varying levels of proficiency.Operation of a State Vehicle No Supervises Employees No Required Travelno travel required.
