Education:
High school diploma or vocational school graduate; completion of a two-year program in electrician training, electrical technology, manufacturing technology, engineering technology, or related field, or equivalent experience and trainingExperience:
Previous experience in industrial maintenanceTechnical Skills:
Familiarity with standard practices, tools, and equipment used in industrial maintenanceProficiency in working with AC, DC, and servo controls, as well as electric motors and controllersExperience with PLCs and electronics beneficialKnowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferredAbility to interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and flow schematicsSkilled in the use and care of hand tools, power tools, and basic machine tools
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for sustained periods; capable of lifting up to 75 poundsComfort working in varying temperatures both indoors and outdoors, year-roundAbility to work in confined spaces and reach overhead
What You Will Do:
Responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation, and testing of machinery, along with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and minor construction work as needed to keep facilities and equipment in optimal working conditionPerform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment, ensuring functionality and safetyConduct safety inspections and address issues to maintain a safe work environmentFollow preventative maintenance checklists, inspecting belts, fluid levels, and worn parts, and documenting maintenance activitiesPlan and perform repairs, consulting technical diagrams and parts catalogs as necessaryMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairsThis role offers the opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained, safe facility and requires a proactive, technically skilled individual who can work both independently and as part of a team.
