Overview
DNI is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant (EA) to the USSOUTHCOM. The EA is expected to manage calendar and schedule meetings in support of operations within the Information Operations Deputy Directorate (J39) office and plan and coordinate travel in support of mission requirements. The EA will coordinate with the various joint directorate staffs to integrate and disseminate decision support documents for EXORDs, OPORDs, CONPLANs, and strategic operations in support of the J39's coordination requirement. Our EA will coordinate logistics, develop communications, and perform administrative, and staff activities directly supporting the J39. The EA will facilitate interoperability of joint staff systems and processes to ensure the J39 can supervise and manage joint processes as required to execute J39's tasks. The ideal EA candidate will have experience Managing J39 taskers through the SOUTHCOM Task Management Tool (TMT)
Responsibilities
Oversees staff actions addressing Combatant Command Joint Staff, OSD, Service, Component, and Interagency issues. Coordinates with other Combatant Command offices to level-set or compare operational guides, policy, or doctrine.Drafts and prepares memorandums, briefings, reports, emails, and other documents and correspondence required by the J39 staff. Ensures division recall rosters are updated and disseminated to key personnel and offices. Manages the division's OMB email correspondences. Tracks IT and Help Desk tickets for division personnel.Serves as the J39 office manager by office supply inventories, screens and directs phone calls, directs correspondence and organizes and maintains office hard copy and electronic filing systems. Maintains and updates J39 Division hand receipts.Maintain J39 budget and funding documents and records. Record meeting minutes for the Information Operations Working Group (IOWG) and other meetings as directed by J39 staff.Plans and coordinates travel supporting J39 and DJ39 mission requirements; EA must maintain access to the Defense Travel System (DTS) and check the queue daily.Qualifications
Minimum of three years as Executive Secretarial or Administrative assistant to an O-6 or higher-level office at a Combatant Command or higher level in the Department of Defense.Minimum of a Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or associate's degree (preferred in Office Management, Executive Assistant, or equivalent degree program).Any additional federal training or schooling in this functional specialty is preferred.Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.

• Strong relationship building skill
• Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products
