What's the role?

We're continuing to grow quickly at Zeiss, and we need an efficient, adaptable Recruiting Coordinator to help us meet our hiring goals! We're looking for someone who is passionate about providing every candidate, and their hiring teams, a best-in-class experience. In addition to working with candidates, will partner closely with our internal recruiting team to continue to build out our recruiting processes. You will act as a strategic partner to the Recruiting Manager and talent organization, while nurturing an environment of growth and development for a team of coordinators. You will have the proven track record to lead a successful team while handling a workload of recruiting-related tasks with a high degree of customer service and accuracy in data, systems, and communications. We are looking for candidates to contribute broadly across the Talent Acquisition organization by helping to strengthen processes, best practices, and increase our efficiency.

Here's what you'll do:Work closely with a team of coordinators to deliver results e3e3Maintain clean data in our applicant tracking systemProvide support and partner with recruiters on other recruiting projects as neededManage logistics for the recruiting process, including travel arrangement, expense reimbursements, generating offer letters and ensuring background checks are 100% completedTrack and analyze data to deliver to stakeholders and reduce interview reschedulingEnsuring an outstanding candidate experience - including timely follow up on recruiting statusSchedule a high volume of interviewsGreet candidates and ensure their (virtual) on-site interview process runs smoothlyUpdating candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems and confirming new hires and Posting Job opportunities on various job boardsIdentifying opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency and help implement process improvements to enhance our candidate experienceSupport the recruitment team with candidate sourcing for key rolesSupport event planning and coordination of in-house recruiting eventsWork with external agencies on contract hiring workflowAssisting in other recruiting activities as neededDo you qualify?

Experience:

Strong experience drafting business correspondence.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is an absolute mustAble to read, analyze, and interpret company policies and guidelinesAble to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employeesAble to interact and communicate effectively with employees, candidates, vendors, contractors, and management in a professional mannerAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain confidentiality, conduct business in ethical manner, present a credible image and accept and follow directionRequirements:

2-4 yrs. related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Bachelor's degree PreferredSuccessful experience in motivating and training a team of coordinatorsExperience in recruiting coordination and interview scheduling in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong attention to detail and superior organization skillsResults-driven and proactive approach to workStrong ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a high-demand environment while demonstrating professionalism and good judgmentProficient at using a PC; highly proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointMust be proficient calendaring in Outlook and using Intranet/InternetMust have experience utilizing an applicant tracking system (ATS).
