The Job:

As the Head of People Operations, you will play an essential role in shaping and executing the human resources strategy for our organization. You will lead initiatives aimed at attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. This role requires both operational & strategic mindset, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for cultivating a high-performing and engaged workforce.

What You'll Be Doing:

Strategic HR Leadership : Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and values. Partner with senior leadership to drive initiatives that support employee engagement, retention, and productivity. Help drive organizational development initiatives and change management efforts.Talent Acquisition, and Onboarding & Offboarding:

Oversee the recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience and timely hiring of qualified candidates. Implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new hires into the organization. Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Streamline offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for departing employees and while gathering feedback to identify areas of improvement.Employee Relations and Engagement:

Act as a trusted partner and resource for employees and managers on HR-related issues. Promote a culture of open communication, collaboration, and feedback. Develop and implement programs to enhance employee morale, and engagement and retention ratePerformance Management:

Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning. Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related matters.Learning and Development:

Partner with the L&D team manager to overseethe L&D team to help identify training and development needs across the organization and develop programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Facilitate leadership development initiatives and promote a culture of continuous learning.Compensation and Benefits:

Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs. Monitor market trends and benchmarking data to ensure our total rewards package remains competitive and aligned with industry standards.HR Compliance and Policies:

Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures that promote fairness, equity, and compliance with best practices. Collaborate with legal counsel when necessary to address legal issues.HR Metrics and Analytics:

Establish key HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Use data-driven insights to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to optimize HR processes.Lead a Diverse, Global Team : Oversee People Operations for a dynamic and geographically dispersed workforce, supporting team members across the US and Asia in both fully remote and hybrid work environments.Perform other duties as assigned.Who You Are:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) preferred.8-10 years experience in HR leadership roles, with a focus on people operations, talent management, and organizational development.Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive change within an organization.Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR technology platforms.Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element.Proficient understanding of data analysis and reporting.Excellent organizational and leadership skills.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.SHRM certification or Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification (SPHR).Ability to work on-site in our Woodland Hills Office for at least 3 days per week.Work Perks Worth The Hype:

Compensation:

The base salary range is: $145,000 - $165,000

The Base Pay Range for this position is based on the industry benchmark for position, function, level and the company's compensation strategies. However, final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other objective business. Convoso's compensation package also includes equity for all eligible U.S full time roles and exceptional benefits, including generous 401k match.
