Prepares, routes, manages, reviews and communicates customer orders to the warehouse and transportation teams to ensure on-time pick-up and delivery.
Responsibilities
Gather basic reliability data from field studies or database and correlates the data for analysis.Receive incoming sales orders by fax, email and EDI and enter orders accordingly.Ensure all orders are processed correctly in Sage X3 ERP system.Work with Replenishment Analyst to coordinate incoming orders, and order revisions which maypresent opportunities to better serve our customers.Communicate, verify, and schedule carrier appointments for pick and deliveries, review orders fordelivery date and quantities according to established guidelines.Communicate with distributors and retailers as necessary for confirmation of orders, changes,lead times and product availability.Utilize customer's web portals to obtain appointments for DC deliveries.Communicate order inaccuracies received from a customer to Management.Provide appointments and maintain schedule for pickups for outbound shipments.Communicate and coordinate Customer orders and adjustments with the ProductionPlanner.Provide appointments and maintain schedule for pickups for outbound shipments.Uphold and manage team participation in all Corporate Responsibility programming includingrecycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.Utilize problem solving skills to recommend changes to improve processes and procedures thatresult in improved operations and or customer satisfaction.Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceThree years' experience with any accounting software; user level training with Internet Software, MS Access Database and MS Excel Spreadsheet software
