CFC has a need for a Manager, Capital Markets to join the Capital Markets team. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work at our headquarters office in Sterling, VA, as well as optional remote workdays. The Manager, Capital Markets is responsible for managing CFC's derivatives portfolio, debt issuance/administration, reporting and debt compliance.
As a Manager, Capital Markets, you will:• Manage CFC's derivatives and long-term funding programs, including public and private debt issuances.• Manage quarterly derivatives and long-term debt valuation process and quarterly reporting for use in CFC's financial statements.• Provide assistance with the execution of debt securities and derivatives transactions.• Conduct capital markets research, management reports and other ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for internal and external stakeholders including board of directors, member meetings and events.• Prepare and track CFC debt compliance requirements.• Perform collateral tracking and reporting processes required to support CFC's secured long-term debt programs.• Manage Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for Treasury functions.• Draft SOX documents and procedures and respond to internal audit requests.• Develop and train staff on financial models.• Develop and mentor staff to establish bench strength.
To be successful, you will need:• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or management.• MBA or Master's in finance, accounting or economics preferred.• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the financial and banking industry.• Experience in corporate treasury and capital markets transactions preferred.• Prior supervisory experience is a plus.• Experience working with treasury management systems desired.• Advanced financial modeling, reporting and analysis skills.• Advanced understanding of financial institutions and debt capital markets.• Expert knowledge of and proven ability to apply financial, capital markets and debt issuance best practices.• Ability to balance multiple priorities and take direction from multiple sources.• Ability to work within multiple disciplines at one time.• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.• Strong understanding of, and ability to use the Bloomberg terminal.• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.• Strong attention to detail.• Ability to meet strict deadlines.• Strong management and leadership abilities.• Expert MS Office skills.
