The Director, Cybersecurity leads the global IT Security organization, including: Systems Security, Security Engineering, Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Security Operations. This position is responsible for providing direction and strategy for our corporate Security & Compliance. This role manages the capital and operational Security & Compliance budgets, manages vendor engagements, and negotiates contracts.
Provides direction and strategy for the Global Cybersecurity organizationManage a team of cybersecurity professionals (FTEs, contractors, consultants) and managed service providers who support endpoint security, Governance/Risk/Compliance, Email, E-Commerce security, and provide SOC and other servicesResponsible for overseeing the engineering of security solutions for Claire's corporate and retail environment that align with business goals and industry best practicesResponsible for Security project and operational budgetsManage vendors, including: reviewing and negotiating contracts, ensuring deliverables are metBuild and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and vendor partnersPlan and track Security & Compliance initiatives (NIST, Risk Management, PCI), ensuring successful delivery on time and in budgetOptimize processes and proactively seek opportunities for improvement and savingsStay engaged and be familiar with latest security technologies and methodologiesFamiliar with SoPs, runbooks, project plans, HLD, LLD, security policies and procedures documentsDevelop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentationsBuild high-performing teams through the development of individual team members and by recruiting, hiring, managing, and mentoring engineersResponsible for lifecycle management, maintenance contracts and licensing, total cost of ownership and inventory control of all systems assetsOversee the management of security alerts and incidents, provide timely response and resolution, and incident response plans and proceduresLead security architecture direction for solutions as well as influence peers, cross functional partners, and IT leadershipEffectively communicate security risk to various audience levelsLead incident response efforts in the event of security incidentsUnderstand and can articulate security trends
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering preferred or equivalent experience10+ years' experience in cybersecurity5+ years in a leadership role with increasing responsibilitiesExperience planning, implementing, and operating Security initiativesFamiliar with Access Management, Threat and Vulnerability Management, Endpoint detection & response, SOC/SIEMStrong organizational and management skills; ability to efficiently manage a team and a variety of multiple concurrent projects.Verifiable track record of effective technical leadership which includes strong strategic thinking and successful project execution with technical and business resources.Familiar with designing and building Security servicesExperience managing multi-million $$$ budgetsFamiliar with vendor management, including: contract creation, negotiation, and delivery
Compensation Range: $109,720.00 - $156,000.00
Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
