About the Role
The Sustainability Senior Specialist is an integral part of Latham's Human Capital & Talent team and will be responsible for providing proactive and effective project management of key sustainability workstreams, driving forward momentum on cross-cutting operational initiatives large and small, while managing client inquiries regarding the firm's environmental sustainability program and progress. This role will be located in either our Washington, D.C. or New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
Managing third-party environmental reporting activities (e.g., CDP, EcoVadis)Proactively and effectively project managing key sustainability workstreamsCollaborating with key business support departments to support sustainability initiatives and improve the sustainability of the firm's operationsHelping determine and evaluate improvements in our global sustainability programs and benchmark best practicesUsing deep expertise of sustainability frameworks and standards (e.g., GHGP, SBTi.) to provide strategic direction to key consultants and internal stakeholders on the actions and solutions required for the firm to achieve its commitments and targetsProtecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retainsWe'd love to hear from you if you:
Demonstrate knowledge of Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting StandardDisplay well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firmPossess the ability to work independently to research, analyze, and develop statistical and financial informationAnd have:
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field; a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeA minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experienceBenefits & Additional Information

USD $95,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
