Job Summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Sr. Logistics Analyst to join our team in our corporate headquarters in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA). This position is responsible for managing transportation needs and enhancing transportation strategies that support company distribution centers, Sales, Customer Service and Customer requirements. This will be achieved by service management as well as identifying, initiating and leading improvements to support business initiatives, cross-functional department objectives and elevating the Dorman Customer experience.

This role is onsite two days per week with the opportunity to work remotely three days per week.

Primary Duties

Develop, maintain, and improve Logistics dashboards, scorecards, and reportingManage reporting database in support of business operationsAnalyze reports, identifying patterns and trends, using ExcelPerform data management through a combination of data mining, data modeling, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis, process mapping, and/or problem analysisPerform modeling, what-if analysis, and utilize other conceptual tools to improve forecast confidenceReview analysis on business needs, inventory movement, transit times, mode optimization, freight cost, invoice audit results and recommend improvement opportunitiesCollaborate and work with DC Operations Team to resolve logistics issues, ensure flow of product to customer, and develop improvement strategiesDriver in change management within the Logistics Team to continually introduce efficiency and value add to activitiesLead and/or participate in department or cross functional projects and initiativesOther duties as assignedQualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics, Business, or a related fieldMinimum of five years of experience within Transportation / Logistics
