Position Summary : Drive a delivery van over designated routes in accordance with established time schedules for the purpose of delivering and picking up materials, packages and/or copies, maintenance mops and rags program supplies, and deliver intra-district mail. Performs related duties as assigned.Term of Employment:
12 month position

Per Local 95 Master Contract
Report to:
Director of Non-Instructional Support Services
Qualifications:Must have and maintain a current PA valid driver's license (CDL - S endorsement -P/Air Brakes) and be insurable by the District's Insurance CompanyFive (5) years driving experience with a clean driving recordAbility to drive and maintain delivery vanAbility to lift eighty (80) poundsAbility to load delivery van and carry equipment and materials into school buildingsMust be bondableMust be able to do repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pullingMust be able to do repetitive stooping, kneeling and crouchingMust be able to do repetitive reaching and handling of heavy materials and/or equipmentPossess current satisfactory performance evaluations.Professional tact, diplomacy and flexibility with administrators, staff, teachers, students, parents and the communityKnowledge, skills and experience related to working with young childrenMust hold or obtain FBI, Criminal Check, and Child Abuse Clearances.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Examples of work performed might include; but not limited to:
Pickup and deliver maintenance mops and rags to each District BuildingDeliver Finance Department materials (i.e. purchase orders, etc.)Deliver all administration correspondenceDeliver correspondence between schoolsPerform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisors of Maintenance/Transportation
