so join our client's team. The role requires a mix of fundraising strategy, leadership, and team management, as well as overseeing financial processes and maintaining donor relationships within their Region, which covers Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising
Lead regional fundraising initiatives, including Cause and Point of Sale campaigns. Align regional activities with SOSC's strategic goals and priorities. Develop and manage the region's annual fundraising plan and budget. Cultivate relationships with donors, secure grants, and oversee sponsorship opportunities. Manage fundraising collateral for events and ensure accurate donor information in the NXT database. Lead signature regional events to ensure a significant return on investment (ROI). Oversee donor stewardship, financial tracking of gifts, and reporting in the region. Support law enforcement fundraising efforts (LETR) and collaborate with local groups, government agencies, and program coordinators to drive revenue and promote SOSC. Leadership & Team Management:
Supervise a team responsible for fundraising activities, including direct reports and volunteers. Lead and develop team members, promoting efficiency and program effectiveness. Attend relevant meetings, public events, and contribute to committees and special projects. Manage regional assets, including office supplies and vehicles (if applicable). Participate in team and organizational goal-setting, supporting the organization's broader strategic plan. Job Level Responsibilities:
Develop and execute regional fundraising goals aligned with the organization's strategic priorities. Oversee team performance and ensure success in achieving regional goals. Serve as a public representative of company. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, with 7-10 years in fundraising, volunteer management, and supervisory roles. Strong project management, relationship-building, and communication skills. Experience with donor databases (e.g., Raiser's Edge NXT) and strategic planning. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and work with diverse personalities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant technologies. Must have a valid driver's license and pass background checks. Ability to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed. Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
This position requires a strategic, results-oriented leader who can inspire teams, build relationships with donors, and ensure effective fundraising operations within the region.
