Summary
The Human Resources Director is responsible for creating a fair, respectful and constructive work environment. The HR Director will oversee and implement policies regarding the full employee lifecycle, such as training, development, compensation, performance reviews, investigations, and daily employee support.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, General Business, Psychology, or a related field.Essential Job Duties
Facilitate and manage employee relations on behalf of the company including internal investigations.Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.Manages relationship between Alphalete and outsourced HR vendor to perform daily HR tasks (i.e. recruiting, onboarding, payroll and benefits administration)Additional Job Duties
Employee Relations
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective communication, employee engagement initiatives and recognition programsAddress and resolve complex employee relations issues with sensitivity and fairness / Oversees employee disciplinary meetings and terminationsDevelop and implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new hires into the company culture
Compensation and Benefits
Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.Partners with outsourced HR vendor and benefits broker to provide competitive benefit plans / Administer annual Open Enrollment
Performance Management
Lead the design and implementation of performance management systems, including goal setting, feedback mechanisms, and performance reviewsProvide guidance to managers on performance-related matters, coaching them on effective performance conversationsIdentify skill gaps and training needs within the organization / design and deliver impactful learning programs
Compliance and Risk
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills / Experience
5-10 years of progressive HR experience, with a proven track record of driving HR initiatives and programs5+ years of experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations3+ years of experience in a supervisory roleIn-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and industry best practicesExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsStrong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesFunctional knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)Preferred Skills / Experience
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferredTraits / Characteristics
