Job Description

This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide the services outlined below. International SOS is looking for Nurse Practitioners or Physicians Assistants to serve as Advanced Teleoncology Providers to supplement staffing in National Teleoncology Program. Care shall cover the range of Hematology and Oncology services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements/Certifications:Current and unrestricted license to practice nursing in any state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantCertified in Basic Life Support (BLS)/Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency.Telehealth- Teleoncology experience is strongly preferred.Prior VA or military experience is preferred.Certifications and specializations in hematology/oncology are preferred.Minimum of 1 year experience providing direct to patient hematology/oncology care (telehealth preferred)Education Required:

Nurse Practitioner candidates must be a graduate of a school of nursing that was approved and/or accredited by the appropriate State agency and accredited by either the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) at the time the program was completed.Physician Assistant candidates must be graduates of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) and posess a master's degree.Physical Requirements:

Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.May require bending, stooping and lifting to 25 lbs.Other Special Qualifications:

US CitizenMust relocate to project site for the duration of the contract.Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
