Job Description

International SOS is looking for a highly qualified Interventional Radiologist the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. This position is for coverage/on-call at the VA Medical Center in Decatur, GA.

QualificationsCurrent, full, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any US State or TerritoryPossess a Board Certification from the American Board of RadiologyMinimum 3 years of clinical experience.Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency.Prior VA or military experience is preferred.Must have MD/DO AND graduated radiation oncology residencyShall be responsible for providing Interventional Radiology procedures, including, but not limited:

Angiography CryoblationBalloon angioplasty/stent placement Line insertionChemoembolization IVC filtersCholecystostomy Vertebroplasty / KyphoplastyDrain insertions Nephrostomy placementEmbolization Radiologically inserted gastrostomyThrombolysis Dialysis access & related interventionsBiopsy TIPS placementRadiofrequency ablation Biliary interventionEndovenous laser ablation of varicose veinsOther duties as assignedPhysical Requirements:

Moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 15 lbs)Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouchingOther Special Qualifications:
