The Medical Team at Blue Ridge is looking extend their services from Earlysville to Staunton, VA, and is currently hiring additional Equine Ambulatory Veterinarians.

Our state-of-the-art facility provides a full range of diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical options. We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and team-oriented Associate Veterinarian to join our growing practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse case load in both ambulatory and hospital settings. You will have the opportunity to work with advanced diagnostic tools and collaborate with experienced specialists to deliver comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide medical, surgical, and dental care for equine patients- Conduct farm visits and provide ambulatory services in the surrounding area- Perform diagnostics using advanced imaging tools (ultrasound, radiography, endoscopy, etc.)- Collaborate with a team of skilled veterinarians and technicians- Engage with clients to educate and deliver excellent customer service- Participate in continuing education and stay updated on the latest in equine medicine

Qualifications:- DVM or equivalent degree required- Eligibility for or current Virginia state veterinary license- Strong interest in equine medicine and surgery- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation- New graduates are welcome to apply; mentorship is available
