Job Title: ACTHE008528 - Maintenance ManagerLocation: Los Angeles, CA 90045Duration: Full-TimeExperience: Four (4+) plus years of work experience and/or a combination of education and work experiencePay Rate/Salary: $108,000 - $120,000Description:The Maintenance Manager I oversee all safety, maintenance operations, and projects for a single facility or a group of facilities. This role partners with all trade associates/clients, and local agencies. This role will supervise all employees of the facilities department with a total operational volume of less than $2M.
Position Qualifications:
Provide advanced practical knowledge to all aspects of routine maintenance.Manage the utility plant, electrical delivery systems, gas delivery systems, emergency generators.Oversee physical plant troubleshooting, operation of steam distribution systems, air conditioning and heating systems, building automatic control systems, water distribution, fire protection, sanitary and storm sewer operations, piped medical gases, electrical distribution and central utility plants for steam/chilled water, and project management.Manages on and off-site employees and third-party trade partners.Evaluate condition and function of building utility systemsReview priorities for capital funding requestsVerify jobsite safety, building code compliance, proper instillation and design practices for systems associated with minor/major maintenance and renovation projects.Provide direction and oversight for the development and implementation of an overall emergency management strategy for the assigned facilityAdminister assignments for facilities and partner with the local City authorities and regulatory agencies including building code compliance.Meet with liaison, client, and supervisory staff as well as community groups, agencies, contractors, architects, and engineers to plan, organize, coordinate and/or communicate programs, services, policies and/or procedures.Prepare and manage departmental budgets, including energy savings program, a variety of departmental records/reports, and work performance and preparing and/or reviewing performance evaluations for assigned personnel.Act as a liaison between the assigned facilities and the local City authorities and regulatory agencies including building code compliance.Review and evaluate existing programs, services, policies, and procedures.Develop recommendations concerning improvements, implementation of new and/or modified programs, services, policies, or procedures.Essential Duties:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a similar degree program.Four (4+) plus years of work experience and/or a combination of education and work experienceComputer literateExcellent technical and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsExceptional written/verbal communication skills.Advanced knowledge of DCBC, NFPA, TJC, OSHA and EPA
