The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision and guidance to the clinical staff for the purpose of assuring quality clinical services, documentation, and professional conduct as it relates to client care and professionalism.
Primary Job Responsibilities:The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision and guidance to the clinical staff.Provide clinical services to recipients for 20 hours and maintain personal caseload.Work collaboratively with the Clinical Staff to monitor each client's clinical status and response to treatment.Monthly supervision of clinical staff.Review and sign all clinical documentation submitted by team members.Review and sign all treatment plans submitted by team members.Attend monthly supervision with Program Director.Attend multi-disciplinary team meeting as needed.Maintain clinical supervision binders for team members.Review QA reports and caseloads for all team members, maintain caseloads - adding intakes and deleting discharges.Report all client grievances/complaints to the Program Director.Provide clinical direction and guidance to team members.Respond to client grievances according to policy for clients assigned to your clinical staff and file appropriately.Responsible for the development of treatment plans and appropriate documentation.Documentation in EMR of face-to-face consultation.Be available to participate in crisis intervention strategies of recipients.Notify staff Psychiatrist of any significant changes in the client's physical or mental status.Participate in team meetings as needed.Maintain up to date training on all company policies and procedures.Work collaboratively with and provide ongoing updates to the Program Director, Psychiatrist, and Medical Director.Listen/respond to; interact with clients, co-workers, management, and other professionals in a non-judgmental manner.Communicate objectively, thoroughly, accurately, concisely in a manner consistent with the cognitive level of the persons involved.Demonstrate an understanding and acceptance of the organizational mission and shared purpose to assist individuals by providing quality services.Assist with building a positive image for the agency by demonstrating support and cooperation with other units and community agencies.Demonstrate professional work ethics as evidenced by overall dependability, conscientiousness, and timeliness.Run quality control on client charts to ensure they meet industry standards.Manage discharge summaries and patient active status.Run quality control on each rendered service to ensure it meets billable standards.Complete charge slips for all notes signed.Education/Experience:
The Clinical Supervisor will hold at minimum a Master's degree in Psychology, Human Development, Behavioral Science, or related discipline.In addition to an advanced degree, the Clinician will have attained licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.
