Job Details
General Responsibilities:Administering employee benefits including insurance and open enrollment process.Recruiting (Posting Ads; Conducting pre-screens; Scheduling interviews, pre-employment screening, and background checks)Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning lettersCreating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulationsPerforms routine task required to administer and execute HR programs including but not limited to leaves, resignation,terminations, discipline matters, exit interviews.
Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategyBridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other sensitive issues.Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capitalDevelop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organizationOversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performanceAssess training needs to apply and monitor training programsReport to management and provide decision support through HR metricsEnsure legal compliance throughout human resource managementComplies with company policies and procedures.Additional duties as assigned by management.Experience/Educational Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience of progressive HR responsibilities in managerial roleExperience working in a HR capacity for a manufacturing companyExcellent phone etiquette and courtesy, professional communication and customer relationship/service.Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of management and employees.Highly proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookMust be highly organized with strong attention to detail.Strong work ethic and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.BS degree preferred, MBA desired
